Who the site is for
This site is for adults 21 and older. By using it you confirm you are at least 21.
Information, not advice
We do not sell cannabis or take orders for any shop. Nothing here is medical, legal, or tax advice, and reading this site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Rules and limits are plain-language summaries of public sources, each cited on the page, and they can change. Confirm with the California Department of Cannabis Control or the New York Office of Cannabis Management, or ask a licensed attorney, before you rely on them.
Not a government site
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the California Department of Cannabis Control, the New York Office of Cannabis Management or any other government agency. We link to their public license records so you can check a shop yourself.
Accuracy
We check licenses against regulator data and show the date we last checked. Hours, phone numbers, and events can change after that date. Check a shop's license and hours before you go, and check an event's official page before you travel.
Maps, hours and “Open now”
The shop and city maps are diagrams placed from the addresses in state license records and drawn to a straight-line scale. They are not street maps. Use a shop's Directions link to find your way.
“Open now” is worked out from the weekly hours on the shop's profile and the time in the shop's time zone. It does not know about holidays or same-day changes, so check with the shop before you make a special trip.
Where the rules come from
Each state's rules page summarizes its statute, regulations and regulator guidance, cites the source beside each rule, and shows the date it was last reviewed. When a summary here and the regulator disagree, the regulator is right.
Listings and paid partners
A listing means the shop held a state license when we checked. It is not an endorsement of the shop or its products. Paid partner listings are advertising and are labeled PAID PARTNER.
A paid partner's links to its own website and menu are marked sponsored. Payment does not change which shops we list or their order, does not buy a “best” label, and does not change what we say about the law.
Paid partner listings for New York shops show the warnings New York requires on cannabis advertising, including the New York State HOPELine.
Follow the law
- Use cannabis only where state and local law allow it.
- Do not drive after using cannabis.
- Do not take cannabis across a state line or through an airport, even between two legal states.
- Keep cannabis away from children and pets. If someone swallows it by accident, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222, or 911 in an emergency.
- Adult-use cannabis is still illegal under U.S. federal law, including on federal land such as national parks.
