The short version
There are no accounts, no forms, and no advertising trackers on this site. We do not sell or share personal information. The only thing we store in your browser is your age confirmation.
What loads when you open a page
Every page, stylesheet, and font comes from cannabiscityguides.com, with one exception: the Google Analytics script described below. The fonts are hosted here, and the shop and city maps are drawn inside the page, not loaded from a map service.
- The city search on the homepage filters the list of cities in your browser.
- The “Open now” label on a shop profile compares the shop's posted hours with the current time in the shop's time zone, in your browser.
- Nothing on the site asks for your device's location.
What your browser stores
When you confirm you are 21 or older, the site saves that answer in your browser so it does not ask again. We use it only to skip that question. Clear your browser's site data to remove it.
Google Analytics sets its own two cookies, listed below and explained under Analytics.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count page views on every page, and a few actions: opening a city or shop page, and clicking directions, a shop's website or a paid partner listing. With Google's standard settings it also records scrolling, clicks on links to other sites and searches on the page. Google's advertising features (Google signals and ad personalization) are switched off. Google sets its own cookies, listed above, and processes the data under its own privacy policy.
Services that see your request
- Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
- Email sent to desk@cannabiscityguides.com is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our team's inbox. We keep messages so we can answer them and do not add you to any mailing list.
What we do not collect
- Accounts, passwords, or profiles: there is nothing to sign up for.
- Payment details: we do not sell anything.
- Your location: no page asks your device for it.
- Marketing lists: we do not run a newsletter.
- ID photos or health information: please do not email them to us.
Links to other sites
Shop websites, Google Maps directions, regulators, and event organizers have their own privacy policies. When you follow a link, their policy applies.
Directions buttons open Google Maps, license links open the state regulator's license lookup, and event links open the organizer's official page. Links to a paid partner's website are marked sponsored.
Adults only
This site is for adults 21 and older. It is not directed at anyone under 21.
